Then you have to take the MTR from Disneyland all the way back to the city? Maybe give it around 45 minutes to an hour (with tired kids), the ride back to the hotel can feel like it's too long! So we got curious how does it feel like staying at one of the hotels in the Disneyland Resort. And here's how it went.... One during winter and the other during summer. Why 3 days and 2 nights? So we can enjoy both the park and the hotel. ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/97/9c/979c0324-67d0-47cb-a905-729b01e569b6/content/images/2026/09/IMG_2034.jpg) Waiting area at the lobby Our first day at the hotel is also our date of arrival in Hong Kong. We chose an early flight so we can drop our things off at the hotel (they have luggage storage). Then head to the park while waiting for the check-in time which was between 3-4pm. ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/97/9c/979c0324-67d0-47cb-a905-729b01e569b6/content/images/2026/09/DSC01393.JPG) After spending the day at the park, we went back to the hotel for check-in. By the way, a re-entry at the park is possible as long as you have your ticket with you and you can inform the staff that you are staying at one of the Disney hotels in the resort. Our kids are all below 11yo so we are still okay with one room. But upon checking in, all passports should be given. You can also request for a bed rail in case you need one. ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/97/9c/979c0324-67d0-47cb-a905-729b01e569b6/content/images/2026/09/IMG_2226.jpg) And when someone celebrates his/her birthday, they give this cute towel plushie birthday cake! ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/97/9c/979c0324-67d0-47cb-a905-729b01e569b6/content/images/2026/09/IMG_4966-1.jpg) Upon entering, you will find this open closet with hangers, a luggage/bag shelf, the safe, and Mickey and Friends bedroom slippers. ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/97/9c/979c0324-67d0-47cb-a905-729b01e569b6/content/images/2026/09/IMG_4967.jpg) They have a mini fridge and a water dispenser that dispenses hot and cold water. (You know that tiny seat that you can put for your child to use? They have it here!) ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/97/9c/979c0324-67d0-47cb-a905-729b01e569b6/content/images/2026/09/IMG_5373.jpg) Ink and Plate And one of the things we really enjoyed when we stayed here was the buffet at Ink and Plate! We are a foodie family so the breakfast buffet was heaven! The variety of both local and western dishes were amazing!
